I like the latest NMM. Seems to pivot in N Wales.

Doesnt look as exciting as shown on the non-cumulative chart....

😎 rain turned to wet snow then to snow now here in Caeathro in the heavier shower moving in now on the radar.

Rain here at 60m near Caernarfon. Snow on the hills though.

The front over Scotland will. But the upper air will be slightly warmer, and dew points above 0 so snow only on hills, inland I would think.

Same HARMONIE run ,but from meteociel. 1pm (Thurs). The yellow is sleet or graupel.(soft hail)

Are the orange lines on the HARMONIE charts sleet?

I wouldnt rule out the chance of snow for lower levels for some parts of Wales this week. Slightly colder -7 850s moving down Wales on weds evening and night with negative dewpoints. Ok, the showers will probably be on the N and W coasts/hills. 😉 The trouble is when general precipitation will move south (perhaps thurs AM) the air is slightly warmer so snow only for 200- 300+ 🤨 Then cooler air again Thurs PM but drier. A frustrating marginal yoyo this week!!

Couple of shots I took an hour ago. NW Wales.

Can hear distant rumbles every few seconds to the E heading N over Snowdonia.

Bubbling up nicely here. Some distant rumbles. Only 23.5°C (highest temp here this last week!) , but very very humid! NW Wales

I can hear rumbles to the south now! (NW Wales)

So can I! In Caeathro. I guess from the developing cell on the tip of Pen Llyn. Heading N!!
