  1. Woke up to a couple of inches here on the North Wales coast. Was coming down heavy at 7.30am stopped now.
  2. Meto has changed in the last hour from be prepared to be aware for north wales. Dont really want snow tomorrow cus daughter has driving test
  3. Does'nt look like it. Although bbc wales weather said a few minutes ago that we may get a shower or 2, but looking on the met it jst says " be aware" and not even " be prepared" there does not seem much for wales at all, mostly scotland then moving south over midlands.
  4. Only rain and sleet at the moment in Conwy, dont think we will get much here.
  5. Just been to Llandudno. Snowing heavy, all roads covered ( no gritters anywhere) Went to sleet for 5 minutes and now back to big flakes, falling heavy and roads covering again. Think its heading west , poss towards Anglesey direction.
  6. Snowing heavy here aswell, and sticking. Typical, got to go out in the car now!!!
  7. BBC just said snow on Tues in north and mid wales then just odd showers for xmas day, but nothing to get excited about, snow mostly in scotland.
  8. I am sure it said on the news that it was now heading north.
  9. Gone very dark here and starting again. Snowing heavily over the mountains and heading your way I would think, westerlies.
  10. We seem to be getting a bit in North West and North east. Pics of Wrexham and Conwy mountains ( before and after)
  11. Another covering here again this morning on The North Wales coast and starting again now. Looking over the mountains ,they are now out of sight so looks like more on the way.
  12. Covering here on the coast. Main roads clear as gritters were out last night, just the side roads a bit tricky. Pic taken at 6am and more forecast.
  13. Looks like the first signs of snow are on Sunday, and thats from the met office.
  14. Looks like Sunday is the day for North Wales . Met site Quote- There is a moderate risk of severe weather affecting parts of north and western Scotland, Northern Ireland, northwest England and northern Wales on Sunday. Heavy snow showers may give accumulations of 2-5cm and there is a risk of 5-10cm over hills. Nothing till then as far as I can see.
