Just been out for a windy bike ride. Would be nice to see a couple of ice days this week if there's no ppn coming.

I'm sorry, I'll try and be good and on topic, but - oh man, us midlanders do need some cheering up. The past fortnight has been horrid. Always Christmas and never bloody winter.

I do think that temps and dew points are too high for snow tonight, plus there's the fact that there's no weather anywhere to bring snow. Am looking forward to porridge for breakfast tomorrow #rebel <<hides from Nick L>>

Nick L - we're killing time until some weather happens. This is the MIDLANDS thread, the zone where there is never any weather. Not a thunderstorm, a heatwave or snow. Just read the archives. Anyhoo, still waiting for the cold here in brum. I think any ppn here tonight will be wet. Marginal Midlands again

Love all our dinner details in lieu of snow! Roast pork tomorrow here. Bangers and jackets tonight were fab. Wine going down rather nicely too!

I'm in brum, and am a snow lover - I think it will be a rain/sleet event for us. Temps are a bit marginal imho.

I've got to collect a child from a thing at 11:30. I do hope the polar low/Cheshire streamers/other associated snow features can hold off Birmingham until after midnight.
