I took my dog out for a walk in south brum (B32) about 45 minutes ago. The rain was like big icy splats on my face and the wind is cold and gusty. Taking all current models/radar/observations into consideration I think that in Birmingham we will see falling snow at some point, but not lying snow. It’s been an interesting couple of days, I’m not complaining!

As a purely anecdotal”nowcast” in south brum currently we have those very persistent little flakes of snow that just build and build. It’s the best coverage and duration in Birmingham since 2018 - will it give the same depths and outcome, I don’t think so! I’m not complaining though, today has been fun and interesting!

Hello again. The radar looks interesting for this morning, and the met office are predicting a bit of a dumping for Birmingham. I haven’t been this excited for 5 years!
