  1. Not entirely sure but i thing its a water shrew (Neomys Fodiens). P.S. I only read a few days ago that they have venomous saliva so i hope you are still with us to read this post Hope this is helpful (and not wrong) Mokey
  2. Great thread so i'll try adding to it... A barn owl I saw (right place at the right time) A little egret, starting to see quite a lot at the moment. And the fishermans favourite, a cormorant.
  3. I can't edit my old post so here are my 6. Non-Weather: Weather:
  4. Not really here it is with a standard male mallard.
  5. 2 Non weather from me (for now)... Heard a woodpecker yesterday but couldn't see the thing and I didn't have my camera before all this snow , anyway here they are.
  6. Thanks, I thought it may be but wasn't sure so that helps a lot. Edit: I forgot to say we have loads of waterbirds around here (I live right near where a river meets the sea) and the swans have 7 eggs in their nest, the ducks and moorhens are nesting, I think the pair of little greebs we saw are nesting (not sure) and some of the coots have hatched.
  7. See lots of different birds around here but can anyone say why the mallard is this colour, I think it may be bred with a farmyard duck perhaps but don't really know...
  8. Nothing but rain . Never seem to get anything even like snow here.
