I've had a fair few lying snow days actually, this winter has been much better than last year already!

Had around a week or more of snow on the ground here last winter, doubt this winter will match that.

obviously too early to say anything for sure, but after the 'potential'(yes, i am putting a penny in the swear jar) that hasnt materialised i just got the feeling, nothing more than that, that maybe our luck isnt meant to be this winter. we may get the odd half hearted easterly or northerly toppler, but not much more

  6. what is it about rainbands suddenly losing their intensity as soon as they hit the midlands? we aint that far inland!

    1. Kain

Its fine by me, we have had enough rain! lol

    2. azores92

keeps the weather varied, get a little bored with sunny days constantly. the heatwave a couple of weeks back was good though tbf

  7. big hole in the rainfall over the midlands today, says it all really!

It's going to stall and then slip further south again I think

    3. Bottesford

Yes! It's definitely further north than forecast as it looked it'd be radar watching last night. Go on front keep going north...

    4. Dorsetbred

Yes it looks almost 250mls north of the initial forecast, and looks set to slip back, but not sure by how much before it moves off east

  9. half an inch in total today in the central midlands
