    Just had hail storm, everything went white, not seen anything like it for many years. (north of Worcester)

    yes has been fun, but today has a feel of new years day, the partys over and we wait for mother nature to clear up this mess.

    just noticed temp gone from -0.1 to +0.2 in half a hour, north of worcs

    just said to the wife ' think we are going to need a bigger boiler' mixed emotions for me though, love the cold but the daughter starts a job Monday next which she will have to drive a round trip of 100 miles a day down country roads, she has never realy driven in proper snow (if it comes), lots of dad worry coming up maybe.

    we lost the last of the snow/ice on Thursday, the paths were ice sheets for many days, saw many a person take a dive.

    could be wrong but think i had 24 hours of snowfall here north of worcester, long long time since that happened. got around a foot of snow, currently -0.9deg

    moderate snow here 9 miles north of worcester, was nice until i got my car stuck on a hill. Stil,l been out, got some pics and had a bit of a sledge but hands got to cold so back in the warm now.

    just noticed the temprature has gone from 0.9 to 0.1 in the last hour (9 miles north worcester) strange day, fine to drive one minute then whiteout, then thaw again. thinking the rush hour may be fun.

    was nice to see the proper snow earlier on today,,,but its just vile out there now. think theres a fair chance we will see act3 in the west midlands in a week to ten days.....because my mom said, probably something to do with witchcraft.

    great big sloppy wet snow comming down here, make it 2 deg, morning going to be fun again by the look of it,,,, love sitting in a traffic jam for a hour....

    yes the thaw does make you laugh, defrost the freezer in the middle of summer and it takes days, however a few tonnes of snow will happily melt away in no time, light stuff here roads and paths are more or less clear now, may just clip the mets heavy snow for the next 3 hours tho.

    well just taken the mrs to work, few cars on the road here in kidderminster, was all going well untill i came home and spent a age trying to get up the hill we live on,,, problem is some guy in a blue transit decided to take all the grit from the bin late last night, very nice of him. pound to a penny there will be yet another crash down the bottom some time today. oh and cant report it council website crashed.....other than that very happy lol

    v light snow here now,,,,,,, and so it begins. its the snowmen i feel sorry for, dont get much of a life, they once found a mass grave of snowmen down the road from me,,,,, but it turned out to be a carrot feild.

    confirm 5cm in kidderminster and still falling, 0deg just been for a drive to chinky roads very quiet and slippy only lost it once...couldnt see the rounderbout,,,, note to self get tracking checked.

    light snow on grass/paths south west of brum, suprised its -1 here thought it would be a tad warmer this time of day........not enough snow to see kids playing yet,,,or is this the xbox generation.

    oh the snow the snow...will it ever stop, lol yep a great day best of the winter for me today, roads are fine and the snow keeps coming, just took the dog for a walk and had to carry her across the feilds...she has had enough of snow, looks like a fast thaw over the next day or two, but hey looks like it ain't over yet

    yep a iccle bit of snow here, was going to go out tonight, probably best i stay in, pubs will probably be empty..or worse just blokes out, and if we get a tad more snow the taxis will probably go home and i dont fancy walking drunk on the ice

    agree, i've been behind two cars the last few days going way to slow and making me drive on the clutch, and inevitably it ended up with them getting stuck and holding the train behind them up, then they sit there and spin the wheels instead of getting out letting some pressure out of their tyres, i guess some cars are total tosh in this weather though i remember driving a morris marina in a 80 snow event,,now that was a total joke,slightest slope no hope

    well just got back from the take em to work run, roads are so quiet, had fun doing handbrake's in a empty aldi car park, so a few more drips and drabs for us this morning here in the south west,then i guess we will wait for it to start over. a proper winter ,yes , only thing missing is icicles. and why are the schools shut!!! we had to play rugby in this in my day!!!
