I used to love the snow, but after this year, im not loving it as much lol - i hope for the heatwave like a few yrs ago, but from what you's r saying, it aint going to happen lol

coming in very grey here now to, been bright for a good half an hour, wind getting up aswell, my guess is another snow shower heading right for us as we type.

i couldnt believe my eyes when i seen the nhc forcasting something to head for us - might sound strange but i would this system to get closer.

Was doing my usual checks on the national hurricane centre today and seen an interesting subtropical storm named laura which seems to be heading our way, i dont know what the chances of this are but looking at the 5 day forcost for this storm we should get some affects - anyone know more?

well it dont look like a hurricane but looks like a nice band of weather heading over, but maybe the tropical water of scotland can turn it back to hurricane
after all, its been a red hot summer, lol -
as i said above - they are trying to freak people out.

Hi - after looking in one of the sunday pepers they are trying to freak people out by saying a hurricane is heading for britain and will hit on thursday.
They are saying the remnants of hannah, personally i cant see how this can happen as the conditions around us are not good enough for hurricanes to form or breed.
Has anyone else heard this and could it be true or is it just another weather system set to hit us, see link below for the article.

ike has surprised us all - i cant believe that when gustav hit they were 3 more possible hurricanes behind it - ike could be deadly but lets not forget josephine behind ike - a very active week to come i would say.
