Well ive counted about 20 strikes where i am in stockton on tees

Rain coming down really heavy now, road like a river, thunder and lightening to go with it, lovin it!!!!!

I aint no expert, but after last years very quiet season i do think this year will go with a bang.

I used to love the snow, but after this year, im not loving it as much lol - i hope for the heatwave like a few yrs ago, but from what you's r saying, it aint going to happen lol

coming in very grey here now to, been bright for a good half an hour, wind getting up aswell, my guess is another snow shower heading right for us as we type.

i couldnt believe my eyes when i seen the nhc forcasting something to head for us - might sound strange but i would this system to get closer.

Was doing my usual checks on the national hurricane centre today and seen an interesting subtropical storm named laura which seems to be heading our way, i dont know what the chances of this are but looking at the 5 day forcost for this storm we should get some affects - anyone know more? http://www.nhc.noaa.gov/refresh/graphics_a...l?5day#contents - nhc link.

well it dont look like a hurricane but looks like a nice band of weather heading over, but maybe the tropical water of scotland can turn it back to hurricane after all, its been a red hot summer, lol

as i said above - they are trying to freak people out.
