Computers, Reading, Art, Weather, the usual stuff. studied in Agriculture and Environmental studies as well as the sciences and related subjects, went to further ed in I.T. and later had a stint in Agri-Science, now in I.T. full time. My spare time and weekends are more countryside/village spent than town as I like nature and the beauty it can and often does produce.
Oh and used to be a "bedroom coder" and out there somewhere are possibly the only original code/copies of three computer games I wrote in machine code on the 6502/10 and M68000 processors (C64/Amiga) along with a custom database for a video shop and even a demo for Dixons on the Amiga.

  1. Looking forward to the new nature/wildlife series starting "The Burrowers: Animals Underground begins on Friday 16 August 2013 at 2100 BST on BBC Two" as well as Britain's Big Wildlife Revival. happy days.

Yes indeed. My TiVo and/or other appropriate recording devices are set to record this type of broadcast. Good to see it brought up on the news too. Perhaps, we can get a new generation of wildlife enthusiasts who care just as much about the wildlife, that face the brunt of cold and hot seasons without whinging about being warm or cold in their centrally heated houses. Its time to think outside the box and to admire the world we should be looking after.

Ranting no, making a fair honest comment yes, nature needs a bigger spotlight and more media attention than z list celebs and reality pap that far to often adorns the TV, magazines and what passes for newspapers these days.
