    Lovely display, loads of reports coming in from up and down the country. Also unconfirmed reports of aurora in Germany!

    got what i think is the aurora here. About 60-70 degrees high due north, almost at the zenith. Curtains of faint, greyish light, look like cirrus but somehow i don't think they are. Very diffuse green glow to the north east for a time also

    Very nice day overall with blue skies and a few clouds. Shower went just to the south of here at around 7pm, was visible on the radar. Temp currently 13.4C, Humidity 94%

    Oban's dropped off a degree since the last ob, Prestwick and Aviemore both at 28C

    18.7C here atm, breeze off the north sea is keeping the temperatures back. Meanwhile the Scottish record looks like being broken very soon somewhere in the western half of the country. Oban, Prestwick as well as Aviemore up north all in the running atm
