Thanks for the reply SS Regarding the tuition fees, sadly I don't think England is going to see anything changing on this front in the near future. But the fact that Scotland is able to offer its' young people free education does suggest that it already does have independence in some key areas to make incredibly important decisions? My point is that I think this one issue will be the decider for young people in particular and the fact that as things currently stand they do get free education surely is a big plus for remaining in the union, regardless of the "potential" for cuts? Don't post on here all that much; generally a bit of a lurker! The point Nick raises about the relationship between Scotland and England is my concern. Despite not being born in Scotland I've spent a lot of time there and love the place and the people dearly. It all started when me and a friend spent over a month walking across it from North to South (with refridgerators [long story] for charity, which is why it took so long) and experienced unbelievable and incredible kindness from almost everyone we met(complete strangers offering a room for the night on numerous occasions! I very rarely actually post in here but I do spend a worrying amount of time reading through the threads (particularly the MOD thread) trying to understand and learn more, whilst looking forward to the next bout of interesting weather. I know its not strictly on topic but wanted to specifically say thanks for the time and effort you put into the forum - the PDF you uploaded a little while ago being a prime example of what I'm talking about.
