[Winter 2011/12 - My Initial Thought's And What I Expect]

Looking back at this blog / forecast, I actually wasn't too far off the Mark in terms of it being a dryer than normal winter, cold at times and February was one of the mildest Febs on record.

True that Paul. Oh well, I'm just glad im not a moderator... don't know how you guys cope during "peak season" really. You must have shed loads of paracetemol in the cupboards at home!

Could even bring back the "Dislike" button so enough negative votes sees the comment automatically hidden unless and member can then choose read the post or bypass it. Was quite fun the last time they brought it back and saved everyone the hassle of reporting or deleting posts

I've always tended to think we need 2 threads for the model output as discussed in other threads. Official Threads started by mods........One for Forcasts/summaries (based on the reliable) and one for Longer range or General discussion of all output.

A General/long range thread is bound to be the busier of the two due to more people looking for trends futher a field rather than what we "know" is highly likely in the reliable time frames.

Try two official threads and keep them up for a long while till all the NW members get used it, becuase having one thread for Model Output is always going to be mess if you have some people commenting on the reliable and a magority commenting on random longer range charts which they are totally entitled to do regardless of preferences and time frame.
