Hi, I was making this point yesterday about the mild(ish) weather we will be having this week,that its not rare to have it this time of the year,and some people were saying its all going pear shaped,so to look at your charts ,there must be hope.

Hi, I agree that this winter is going th throw up some exceptionally cold weather,lots of people seem to be down after looking at the last few runs,BUT we all know how these runs can change so quickly,yes i am sure we will have some wet and windy,mild weather at times,this is only to expected from time to time, even years ago it happened,and i remember one christmas day as a boy temps got upto 16oc and sunny(about 1979-1980). So i dont think its going pear shaped,just because of a couple of runs,so chins ups,sit back,and just watch the weather unfold.

Hi cheryl, I live in gosport the last decent snow was either 96or 97,december 16th,but i think we are in for a treat this year.

Hi nick, Very impressive temps and snow depths for november,got to say its been chilly for a few days now here on the south coast,normally on todays standards,its wet and windy and mild,it appears to be changeing over the last few months and getting cooler,is it due the melting of the ice caps?or is it due to the cycle.
