Been raining here alllll morning, and to top it all off, its cold rain too.
Temp is 1.5C with a DP exactly the same. Tho both are dropping, It did get as balmy as 2.1C earlier.

BBC forecast looked pretty bad for down here with rain, turning to rain, turning to rain. Oh well, off to Canada...

Another ice day, -1.7c was the max. Have a feeling this might back further west than last time.... Maybe.

Yes nothing is set in stone as of yet except ill be having a drink or 2 at 9pm
I think models will sure up in a couple of days and then maybe we will have more agreement, lets just hope its for a cold wintry spell to see our winter out with a bang

Its true, entrenched cold from an easterly and then a stalled Atlantic front do bring our best snow.

Well... Normal service has resumed...grey skies, cold...but not cold enough, and definately no snow. ;-)

Turned to rain a little after 1pm and the snow has all gone now. Nice and foggy with it.

Hmm this has all the signs of not stopping, but not having access to a radar I don't know if this is part of the main front or just a sympton of Dartmoor and its mircoclimate...

Longer you can hold on to the white stuff the more hope we have further east
-1.0c now and DP of -5.1c here and cloudy. Not really seen any snow showers yet as they keep fizzling out on radar as they head east
Im pretty sure you will get some snow, it was snowing in exeter a bit earlier, and apparently parts of Plymouth.

The road here is already bad, some cars went up this morning, compacted the snow even more and then it froze. My morning run was not fun, especially hungover...
Interestingly, the snow is blowing in from the east still...

its 0.6C here with a DP of bang on zero so talk about knife edge. Its coming down a bit more but still only about 0.5cm

Nice to see a few snow flurrys filtering into the region. Nothing really here so far although its the main warm front which is heading our way which will be interesting and nerve bending!

Still allegedly birds are falling out of the sky in Poland because of the cold... So could be worse. Think I'll leave the razor blades for now

-9.6c last night and I'm sure there was a white blob on the local weather over here for Saturday... We shall see. Would be a shame to waste all that hideous cold weather.
Stil not used to it, two months in south east Asia and Oz has done nothing for my cold tolerance levels lol

Hey good to see you back matt its been a long time!? you must have done wellout of mondays snow?
On my way home I stopped of to get new battieres for my outdoor sensor but then bought the wrong size.
Think my sensor is now catching up with the drop in temp at moment or it is just getting colder very fast. -3c nowTop temperature today was -1.2c which makes it only second ice day.
Actually did better on Sunday, had about 3cm by the evening, but monday it rained. There is still snow abit higher up, which goes to show how cold its been up there, since its been lovely and sunny.

Currently minus 4.3C here with DP dropping through the floor. But then it never got above -1.5C all day again. Shame its all for nothing huh!

and typically as the ppn moves away the last bits are falling as snow. Down to -0.6C and a DP of -0.7.
