      Yes UK houses are really not designed for ot weather unless you live in an older building (as I do) but then you suffer cold in winter instead!

      I live in a fairly new house at home, but my bedroom is south facing so it's like a greenhouse in summer. Lovely and cosy in winter though!

      Yep older houses keep lovely and cool in heat but in autumn and winter they can be cold and draughty which means lots of expensive gas bills lol. Newer build homes are so much more better insulated these days that I can imagine they are extremely hot inside during warmer weather.
