Even though we had clear skies for at least some time last night we only got to -2. Lack of decent overnight minima has been disappointing so far this cold spell, but the snow on friday more than makes up for it, let alone the potential snow for tonight!

Good morning. I wish the snow on the trees could last longer rather than being the first bits of snow to melt, still holding on atm. Icicles already looking good and it wont be long before they rival Dec 2010s icicles!

Just been out for a few hours to enjoy the snow. The deepest snow i've seen in my lifetime IMBY, probably around 15cm. Amazing to walk through a wooded area with the branches covered in snow. Apart from getting deeper snow, it cant get any better than this for me.
