  1. Morning all. It's surprisingly pleasant in south west London this morning, blue sky and breezy. I was expecting a drowning on the way to work. Looks like a well timed lull before more wind and rain later.
  2. Wow that's high. I know that stretch well and haven't seen it like that before. Heading back to the UK in a couple days after 6 weeks away in the sun (sorry ) in South America. Think it is going to be a bit of a shock. Apparently the garden is soggy and full of debris from the various storms.
  3. The shield has been breached, with the first few flakes making their way through.
  4. Snow in Raynes Park. Light but settling nicely. Wasn't expecting this and a great start to winter!
  5. Lucky you. I guess they were all on the runway at heathrow preventing me from flying today.
  6. Yeah I don't hold out much hope. I can probably get to the airport as it isn't far from here (SW london) but I'm not sure there is any point. Oh well, I may as well enjoy the snow. It's amazing, just how I remember it from when I was a kid in the '80s
  7. Usually I would be dancing around like a mad man after an event like this. However, I'm meant to be flying to south america from heathrow at 7 this evening. Talk about bad timing
