    Morning all. It's surprisingly pleasant in south west London this morning, blue sky and breezy. I was expecting a drowning on the way to work. Looks like a well timed lull before more wind and rain later.

    Wow that's high. I know that stretch well and haven't seen it like that before. Heading back to the UK in a couple days after 6 weeks away in the sun (sorry ) in South America. Think it is going to be a bit of a shock. Apparently the garden is soggy and full of debris from the various storms.

    Snow in Raynes Park. Light but settling nicely. Wasn't expecting this and a great start to winter!

    Lucky you. I guess they were all on the runway at heathrow preventing me from flying today.

    Yeah I don't hold out much hope. I can probably get to the airport as it isn't far from here (SW london) but I'm not sure there is any point. Oh well, I may as well enjoy the snow. It's amazing, just how I remember it from when I was a kid in the '80s

    Usually I would be dancing around like a mad man after an event like this. However, I'm meant to be flying to south america from heathrow at 7 this evening. Talk about bad timing
