  1. Does anyone have the fax charts for Saturday/Sunday? I'm considering making out door plans for Saturday but no point organising it, if it's going to be wet
  2. How's the models looking for this weekend? I see there are still concerns on this front causing problems for kent and how far north/north west it will track
  3. KTtom Problem is all the forecasts are talking of rain on Saturday this morning, and with the way things have gone since October no "Sun" plans can be made. The amount of times it's been looking good, only to completely change to rain all day within a 24hour period is just
  4. Eagle Eye But the issue I have with that is, with most of March being cloudy and wet. They never use the "FEELS LIKE" indication unless the temps are below. The feel difference between 13C in calm sunny days and 13C under cloud, wind and rain is stark. Never really tells the whole story, which is why I've always had an issue with it.
  5. While the beeb/met keep peddling the climate change agenda "MILD", it's once again feeling COLD. In fact so far since last year say Oct, there's been ONCE i've not worn my coat. Hate it
  6. BBC/MET Expect some sunshine and mild - Result : Cold, Cloudy and drizzle Expect cloud and drizzle rain soon - Result : Cloudy, dry and rain almost into late afternoon! Ruining my plans!
  7. Methuselah Considering how badly wrong they've been for sometime, I count 5 times this month alone... I'd hold back on the week aheads! ( Even the models are struggling / GFS/ UKMO etc )
  8. Summer8906 Unbelievable that it looks dry in the models for the next few days, and then it changes and we are back to more rain! It was supposed to be dry tomorrow up to friday. Now looking like drizzle and showers. Wont feel mild under that lot. Any sign of a weeks worth of dry weather from GFS? UKMO? probably not
  9. Hotspur62 kold weather It was really bad Canterbury south, yet Herne Bay was sunny all day! Some areas got hit and I'm surprised no warnings were given, considering how long the rain fell and when it started
  10. nick sussex Latest Weather for the Week Ahead WWW.BBC.CO.UK Becoming less cold and wet over the next few days. Tomasz Schafernaker has the details. showing the charts for this upcoming week into next, saying that this easterly wont be a cold one, it will be a mild easterly. It will also topple over us with air coming from spain. Make of that what you will. UKMO is used by the met office? BBC GFS?
  11. Parts of UK may have had wettest February on record WWW.BBC.CO.UK Weather data to be released on Friday will also likely show that this winter was less frosty than normal.
  12. Froze were the Days Didn't last though, by 12 it had already clouded over and non stop drizzle. Even if you go for a walk, everywhere here is flooded or saturated
  13. fourth incorrect forecast this week! Was forecasting fog in some areas but no rain till later (Kent). It's been drizzling all morning!
