  1. Lmao! Love it, lost bits in the wind, i think i may of seen one or two lost bits a couple of weeks ago, could of been someones dandruff though! - not mine i1m bald lol An inch is an inch hehe! Yep we do have some of the best beaches, and downpours!
  2. Well imagine this I live in SE Cornwall, St Germans and Saltash work in Plymouth and have not seen a single snowflake that hasn`t been accompanied by rain, i.e = sleet since January 2011 - thats 26 months of frustration! I did go up on Dartmoor for a fix a few weeks ago, and i did witness heavy snow on Salisbury plain a couple of weeks ago when i went to a 40th Birthday bash, but its just not the same as seeing it in your own backyard lol
  3. Yet another season without snow, last time i saw a snow flake was January 2011, seems after 26 months i am going to wait another 8 or 9 months at the very least. Bitterly cold though, current temp 0.8C with a windchill factor of -9.7C
  4. Whole thing is diving South, a non event and everyone is going to wake up disappointed i`m afraid, unless you live in north France or the Channel Islands - oh well if we get snow next winter it will be close to 36 months without a snowflake falling other than in sleet
  5. Looking at the current radar - all is lost for us poor sufferers in Cornwall and Devon
  6. As usual we get seen off on the south coast of Cornwall and west Devon - My take on it is Kingsbridge looking OK then Portland to East Sussex, where it could really intensify, Sussex, particularly north West Sussex ,around Horsham / Crawley / Gatwick
  7. Current radar shows me at saaltash - just left of Plymouth under light snow - but its not, its dry as a bone, dew points too low probably, and if there is anything its the finest snizzle i have seen ,
  8. Looking like an non event for me - however it looks like as this channel low moves eastward it makes an all important slight shift northward, Yeovil and even Glastonbury may see some snow, that said i was looking good here in Saltash an hour ago - dry as a bone!
  9. I agree - there's still a good northwards vector to that ppn. Some surprises still in store. Wouldn't be surprised to see a wraparound effect over much of Cornwall and Devon into the early hours - then pushing up the channel coastal regions through Dorset, Hampshire, IOW. Maybe not massive amounts but at least a dusting. Thats exactly what i am hoping for but not holding my breath - so frustrating! Temp here in Saltash is 1.5C, DP -2.5C and the wet bulb is 1.42C agonisingly close for all the ingredients, just need the precip - its showing up on radar - but after a ciggie on the front door (facing N.E) how cold? diddly!!!
  10. Well if i were a betting man, Portland to Pompey looks well good POST EDIT: And I.O.W even better!!!
  11. Yep i would say thats looking good atm, also for Kingsbridge, Dartmouth may well get clipped
  12. Dewpoint is -2.4C Yep. Pompey looking good!!! But it could all change, God this is heart attack material!!!!
  13. Too long in the tooth to ramp it up, lol i am a Spurs supporter, enough said, already waiting for a fall. Not had a snowflake in anger here since Jan 2011 thats 26 months, apart from the odd blob in some sleet showers this winter, looking at the current radar prediction not looking as bad, but it keeps changing, still looking best for east Devon and Dorset eastwards
