Following what was Sunday 8th I have the suggestion of the following.
Plenty of advantages to this for the Americans as well with plenty of jobs being created digging it out and then filling it up!

A cracking day, hell of a way to finish off! The planning, positioning and teamwork couldn't have gone better!
Celebrated as a team with a good meal and a raised glass and then off to the best seats in the house to watch the show continue.

All in all, one hell of a tour with it's highs and lows and unexpected happenings.

Packed, hoping to hell my scales are accurate as, following some last minute swapping of items between the two bags, the main bag is 22 1/2 kg which makes my hand luggage 10kg! Hope I don't have to carry that around too much :blink: Checked in. It'll sink in eventually I'm sure. Probably when I get to T5 tomorrow and see everyone else. Still, I'll be more comfortable once we get through Security at Arrivals in DFW. I've just got this horrible thought that they'll say 'No, you're not coming in.'
Anyway, what on earth happened to the need to be there 3 hours before your flight?

Awesome day. Total antithesis of the day before. Sitting there for 30 minutes and watching the storm and it barely moves in that time. Better than chasing something doing 90mph away from you!!

Safely here now ensconsced in the Best Western. Uneventful flight and slept for most of it! Grateful that this time walking out of the Terminal wasn't like walking into a brick wall because of the heat! Sorry to hear about Danny's probs. I can empathise!

Well if they can find a storm big enough for the inflow winds to drag some of that ash away then there will be a very large round of drinks waiting for them!
