    A pretty good covering here now, and the snow is still coming down pretty heavy.

    The latest shower here is just moderate rain.

    The temp has gone back up to 2.2c now, but aslong as the showers are heavy enough they should fall as snow,although they will probably start off as rain and sleet.

    The temp was around 4c here when the last heavy shower arrived and within a few minutes it was down to 0.8c and snowing and also settling.

    Yes it started off as hail and suddenly turned to a brief spell of heavy snow.
