  1. Never an easy route to impressive cold in the UK after all its a complete reversal in our normal default southwesterly which always gives computer models some headaches. ...so still a strong hint of perhaps some exceptional cold for early April......
  2. I don't really see in all respect what the current charts are showing say anything about our forthcoming summer. If you look back at most of Spring 2007 it was mainly anticyclonic dominated with the Azores high in the driving seat warm and very dry overall....then came Summer 2007 ! Anyway March came in like a Lamb this year and models show the jet stream revving up and March going out like a lion, well perhaps a Tiger!
  3. Ecm , great outlook, Yes I'm cherry picking but the slack area of pressure in about T+144 will give us cold crispy nights and warmish days but with some instabilty, beautiful cloud scapes from towering cumulus clouds and some Thunderstorms too...That about sums up my thoughts tonight....!
  4. Ecm yes has a big change in synoptics but all things considered the colder weather from the East will be arriving from as early as Thursday and I expect there will be more tweeks tommorow . Unfortunately cold laden stratus clouds for southern areas later week north western Uk holding on to the best of weather. Looking further ahead a very Blocked weather pattern Friend or Foe ....we will have to see. ,!!!!
  5. In fairness I'm sure there was exceptional events way before that in non recorded history ., and at some point in the future it will happen again not if but when. I've learned something very valuable when it comes to weather never say never you always end up having egg on your face........!.
  6. I'm ready for some warm Spring weather now but models really show a shacky start to Spring yes some hints of warmth but the overall theme is colder rather than milder in the extended outlook although with these situations drier than average which I don't think anyone will complain about !!!...
  7. After a Stormy night Wednesday night going into Thursday morning , for the southern half of the Uk things look intersting to give a very unstable Polar Maritime airmass across the Uk . Thunder Snow won't be ruled out in Western regions . As we move into late weekend another big change......!!!
  8. Quick one from me , But I Will be surprised if the Atlantic gets in at all ..?
  9. Indeed ! The thing that really makes me mad is saying that it will turn Cooler when temperatures are only 7c/45f and with a strong wind. ...yes totally agree grammer is completely wrong.....So very confusing for the general public .....
  10. A curtain of fine weather for just about all with fine days but some cold and potentially misty foggy nights at first but with some sparkling late winter sunshine with a little bit of Umph with a strengthening sun. There is at the moment a caveat from the models of something much colder from the East or Northeast in about a weeks time , will be interesting to see if this continues down the line....
  11. Very surprised at the frequency of some very high gusts of wind. Gusts in excess of 40 mph here today mild but wind chill with that wind speed takes it a whole lot lower....!
  12. A Welcome change of weather as far as I'm concerned from the relentless wet windy weather alternating with fridgid cold this Winter. High pressure for at least the southern half of the country initially so looking like cold frosty nights with some warm sunshine by day as we move into March in like a Lamb and perhaps out like a lion.,,!!! Strong Diurnal temperatures at this time of year , cold frosty nights and warm sunny days from this setup can give us a 20 plus temperature change ...I Welcome a big change in our Synoptics !!! Okay its not exciting weather but it's a nice big change A little bit of Spring coming.....!
  13. Put quite simply and politely They have not got a clue.....
  14. Hello I don't believe in anyway that C02 causes warming...historically speaking in Earth's history C02 was much higher than now which coincided with much a colder climate and on the other side of the coin lower C02 levels resulted in higher global temperatures. Climate scientists have not analysed any historical data .The propaganda train including the media have fooled people....C02 is good for the planet....Its Overpopulation that is the problem. ....
  15. The USA general temperature has been declining for many years the 1920s 30s 40s were far hotter than they are now....!
  16. It's not very often I come on this Place, But Co2 does not cause extreme weather ........If you want me to give you guys historical data to show this please let me know...Cheers Ian.....!
  17. Just adding the Front that pull the milder weather Saturday or Sunday may give freezing rain and some snow watch this space.....
  18. Why are people fed up with what's on the plate ? An amazing suite from gfs and ecm in the reliable time frame for coldies have patience. ......!
  19. Wow....!!! That must be near or a record I would imagine you would freeze in minutes ....anyway its mild here in comparison. ....!
  20. The Atlantic has finally come to a holt...The East is now awakening. ...
  21. It's the evaporation of moisture from our skin ......0c /32f with a wind of 12 mph will result in a wind chill of minus 5c/23f ....hope that helps..!
  22. Hi Paul yes it's fine now not sure why that happened a bit of a techie issue I suspect but thanks again .......
