  1. Felt like January today out of the sun and in the wind. In fact it feels colder now than it has done all Winter! The sun is strong now ,so get some shelter in a suntrap and it feels like heaven, but once that sun goes down tonight , Jack Frost will be out and about
  2. raz.org.rain I’d take more notice of my seaweed, than I would of him …
  3. Better day here, more sun, less wind
  4. History tells us that this can be a big scenario at this time of year. Anyway ,a cold outlook to average ,although the relentless rain train ,just about coming to a halt, although there still looks like a peppering of showers at times ,these still wintry. The incedence of frost looks problematic, especially for farmers and growers, and although there looks a fair amount of dry weather going forward, colder than average temperatures won't be what farmers are looking for, to help dry out the land ,and germinate crops ,much quicker if the weather was warmer....
  5. Typical April showers in a rather potent Pm airmass .
  6. CryoraptorA303 not always a SSW to deliver this type of weather which is pretty normal for the time of year. A fragmenting PV is of responsible for changing the default wind pattern at this time of year , to more of a Northerly or even an easterly which is more common during April and May , than at any other time of year!
  7. Point being made ,its happened before ,I'm not going into a big debate over it as the climate thread not here. ☺
  8. carinthian between 1940 and 1960 there was an unprecedented lack of snow in the Alps ,worse than today's fiasco!
  9. BREAKING NEWS:- The first Nationwide dry spell , for 9 months ,predicted by the end of this week.....!☺
  10. Three things stand out this morning from gfs. A drying trend nationwide, that must be the most important thing that stands out. Secondly, a chilly airmass enveloping the UK, bonus plenty of sunshine, especially southeastern Britain. Thirdly, Frost ,will be problematic for just about all nationwide. A lot to cheer about, now the rain train is coming to a halt ,some pleasant Spring like weather on the way, ,no heavy rain , No gales , and bright cheery weather to be had , what's not to like about that! ☺
  11. Quick summary. Best charts I’ve seen in a long time for eventually the weather settling down. The change is underway, but needs a little more time for the complete settled weather to arrive! Anyway, trends looking the best I’ve seen all year….
  12. Instead of a dartboard low over the UK , we have at day ten a flabby dartboard high.....
  13. Marcus_surfer looks like you’ve got the milder airmass moving , hence the advection fog ….
  14. Well said mate! I would like to make a list of all the predictions to do with greenhouse effect, global warming ,climate change etc , and see how many of the predictions have come true Might actually take that to the climate change thread at some point and see how many excuses some people can make for all those predictions over the last 40 years ,never coming to fruition! ☺
