  1. Hello, just wondering why the Ecm is late uploading the 12z last night and the 00z this morning? Thanks Ian.☺
  2. 40 shades of green, nah , more like 50 shades of grey
  3. Well it’s got better here but only just….
  4. You have to remember that the UK only inhabits 0.01% of the Earth's surface. So winters like 1947/63 the 1963 winter the coldest since the era of the little ice age ,makes you wonder why that occurred? There was a lot of nuclear testing around the world during the 1940s/50s/60's and I have mused that there could be a correlation?
  5. Must be one of the most depressing days weather wise that the weather this time of year has to offer. If today was the summary of what winter was like ….. today was the day .
  6. You're right. But would provide some great cloudscapes, just bog standard showers we don't want ,but some pyrotechnics yes I would like!
  7. From a purely selfish aspect ,this ten day chart from the ecm ,would be a good set up for convection. Warm Spring sunshine, along with a cold ,unstable atmosphere, would give us some lively thunderstorms,
  8. Absolutely rubbish, models are hinting at colder ,warmer scenarios, given the time of year ,the Atlantic goes quieter, historically ,as the PV becomes weaker between March and April and May. Not surprisingly we are seeing colder solutions on the table. Anyway , the Atlantic is cowarading down to the message from the East.....
  9. al78 overpopulation is the problem not the weather.
  10. sundog yes that’s right forgot to put the extra 0 in sundog obviously all other Atmospheric elements have a bearing on earth’s temperature not just C02 !
  11. Yes , looks like we have had a nine month train of Atlantic systems all strung togeather, Atlantic gales and rain , there alive alright
  12. piglet C02 , about 0.4% of our Atmosphere. Now 9 months on ,are you worried about how wet it is
  13. I suppose they could start chasing Papa Johns
  14. Splendid morning here . More plz . I’m ramping this up…..
  15. Spot on. I've been saying this for a long time tbh.The whole of the forecasting suite ,which includes long range forecasting, Short term Precipitation forecasts and anything that is to do with forecasting coming out of the AXXE of these so called Super Computers is totally unreliable ,that's about the only reliable part of the journey ....In recent years there has been a major step back in the reliability of computer generated forecasts . Times are changing not for the good in just about everything it seems....
  16. Yes, I think we can say 8c/ 46f is a damp cold , although had a strong wind with that it will feel bitter ,quite often a British default winters day, but minus 40c and below is a dangerous and life threatening temperature ,quite often a default Canadian winters day, obviously pending on where you live there..
  17. Didn't the last major sea rise occur 10.000 years ago after the last ice age and the last 7.000 years sea level rise has been pretty stable .....? ☺
  18. cheeky_monkey not far off a March record .....!
  19. Arch Stanton sorry don't adhere to so called science. Their goal posts change every five minutes
  20. Arch Stanton C02 0.4% in atmosphere ,methane less......
  21. Looking very wet and unseasonably cold I'm afraid .....
  22. baddie Big pattern change already in motion......☺
