  1. Hey there, the post you have made is utter ****, Drainage systems away from yorkshire are just as good you know, the government dont pick which areas can have poorer drainage systems and are more liable to flood. We was flooded in hull(My home was under a lot of water) We had 100mm of rain, and it was chaos, It was even chaos after the first 40-50mm, the extra 50mm just added to the water levels. Plus, hull its self has not been flooded like this for a century, so evidence does not support your post. I dont want to come accross horrible mate, its just that after what i have been through the past 1 1/2 months we a reaccurance on the way. I do like to think that before people make claims, they should really think about it. I hope you dont get flooded. Its not very nice. oh and p.s The river hull was and is currently on floodwatch for the first time in gods knows many years:)
  2. right i am off too bed gunna wake up in morning and see wats happened. night all take care, and good luck!!! dont be negative!!!! I think the best things u can do is to just go to bed like me wake up in morning and hope for the best, either way one thing is going to happen. any staying on here all night will not change it!!! night
  3. check the meto radar!!! i see a major upgrade for all especially further noth anyone agree ?
  4. omg yes it is have u not seen the updated meto radar, its pushing further north, the north extent is intesifying now.
  5. dont listen to the bbc this is why; Headline: Overnight, snow showers towards the coast. Widespread frost. This Evening and Tonight: Snow showers will move off the North Sea giving local significant accumulations. Otherwise dry, clear at first but cloud increasing later. Widespread frost and freezing fog patches inland. Thursday: Cloudy. Outbreaks of mainly light sleet and snow, mostly affecting the south of the region, wintry showers developing in the north later. Cold in a moderate easterly wind. Outlook for Friday to Sunday: Friday, cold, mostly cloudy with further outbreaks of rain, sleet or snow. Weekend, further rain, sleet, hill snow, accompanied by strong easterly winds at times, but a little less cold. And i have had no showers 2nite at all. Another thing to note an easterly brisk winds with snow, but feeling less cold! they dont have a swearing is not big or clevering clue!!!
  6. how come my back garden reads -4, u shud add that Hull: -4.3
  7. Yeh it sure can die away hehe, seen it enough times its the with rain from the west were sheltred by the penines, which takes all the intensifty out of the precip before it pushes over us, all we can hope for us the interaction with the colder air over us and out to the north sea. Good luck
  8. I thought playing in it would come first man, thats what i would do. Go snowball my ex gf's house
  9. Man this is getting interesting talking about a battle!!! this cold air dont wanna give up -4 currently here. also just to let people now, u see them showers out in north sea east off coast of yorkshire and further noth, there intensifying, and and pushing directly east to west now, If you look close enough you can see a trend of a possible line forming.
  10. I agree, but if you look back many centuries ago, 1600's - 1700's there was a trend were the north got it, then all got it , then the south got it. I have a fealing and i dont know why, that next winter might be the one on cards.
  11. I am not steve, but i say one thing me and him have had some bloody good friendly bets on snow and depth estimations! and i will say i have won my fair share hehe. All steve has to do is think a little and he will know who i am. Only one thing i am not better at than him and thats playing a game that involves " chips " As for the snow, yes i think you will get some, best chance around 3-6pm onwards before it fizzles out, I am from east yorkshire, I have a little bit better of a chance due to the way the band is pushing. Saturday looks wicked for both of us though These southerns can have the frontal snow from the west, we will have our beast from the east  Thanks
  12. Good call, mensioned it before me. Drifting is possible and the potential there for some blizzard like falls " The relative velcoity looks excellent " along with other conditions, there will certainly be downdrafts within the front. So people that are worried about having mariginal temps and dew points, dont worry about it, if you have a temp of 3 or 4oc in this scenario snow may well still fall. due to the downdrafts. Most likely during the heavier bursts, although generally turning back to sleet/wet snow a little quicker than places north of the M4 corridor. thanks
  13. Just to get everyone in the mood, below is a picture i took in queens garden (Hull city centre) last year from a simular scenario, unfortunately i took these pictures early in the morning, and then by afternoon we had about 1 and a half foot if anyone remembered it last december . * All over the news *
