  1. Annoyingly, its cloudy here today too. Pretty much the Whole West Midlands, East Wales and northern parts of the SW have struggled. 19c.
  2. No not at all. I am very happy here as faired so well though. But there is no denying how much North Sea cloud you lot put up with though. Yes the average year wouldnt have had such a high Easterly frequency. But this year the odds have favoured the west for a change.
  3. Sounds like huge differences between here and the North Midlands again then. Think the sun went for 5 mins here. There was more cloud this afternoon but it was just high based and the sun made no trouble of it.
  4. Yep, Id agree average wise with temperatures. Still very nice out there. Still dont see where that rainfall is coming from a 'mobile' atlantic. Would such frequent but more brief spells of rain. Doesnt look like much to me. Each to their own with interpretation though.
  5. So what about this then? http://www.weathercast.co.uk/services/ensemble-forecast.html Barely any rain till the 5th, and as I say a cooler blip this weekend then temps generally around 20c.
  6. I think you have vastly overstated it there. Those last 9 days of July were not Monsoonal. It turned a little cooler in the last week but it remained very warm with some occasioanl rain. You make it out to be 2007 esque. Careful with your wording. Im amazed you never reached 30c if here almost touched 33c though I am in an urban area and in a bit od a dip so we get to trap the heat more. On the 1st August it was 30c pretty much all over the Midlands. It always seems to be except Shrewsbury. Get out of the place man!
  7. Just for balance, where as the Ensembles for the southern half of the country suggest very little rainfall till at least the 5th September and apart from this weekend, temperatures in the low 20s.
  8. Yep, looks dry but cooler for the weekend but still lots of warm sunshine. Just a mix of cloud and sun. Looking good into next week. This has to be the best 'useable' summer I have known of! So many dry days. Just 1 maybe 2 wet days all day as far as I can remember.
  9. What a brilliant day. The cloud never obscured the sun. Cloud is very well broken. 24c. Another brilliant day. Sorry Shropshire!
  10. Cloud is really thin here and the sun is breaking through easily. 24c.
  11. Indeed, Pershore isnt a million miles away from me. Though I can trump most of you when im in Falmouth. hehe. But thats not the point. We are usually far enough West so North Sea low cloud isnt too much of a pain. The hills to the west also do a good job of holding back some cloud. Today seems to be a bit of an example of that. 23c and very sunny here despite forecasts that it would be cloudier now.
  12. Gorgeous day once again. About 23c. Feels quite hot in the sun actually with no wind whatsoever! How on Earth can some people not like this! Bang on perfect!
  13. Yeah for much of the summer west faired best. easily one if my best summers here. A lot more sunshine overall had here than you easterners I expect.
  14. Looks decent tomorrow till about 1 or 2pm, earlier for Shropshire though! Just cloudy and warm. Perhaps some sunny spells again by evening!
  15. 25c was our high. Glorious day. Best day of August except that scorcher in the 1st!
  16. I did not specifically say you must spend it alone but you seem to have a very strong aversion to normal social situations to the vast majority of us. Each to their own but you don't have to remind us everyday that those incessant bleedin sun rays are creating some sort if nuclear bomb effect.
  17. Here here. Anything social or even slightly normal is deemed absurd apparently. We know laser guy that you hate the sun and warmth, but don't consider the rest of us abnormal. Let us live our way and we will accept your way!
  18. It's a way to lead a good social life. What could be worse than working all week then to spend the whole weekend on your own?
  19. Lovely, sunny and warm! Tomorrow looking good for the most part too.
  20. Yep, a lovely warm September for me please. Any low pressure is only going to bring stuck in the middle crap of 14c and rain. Will please barely anyone. Only come November when any cold may bring snow would that be of preference to me. I only like the cold when there is snow about. Makes it more interesting. Cold on its own is just horrible and you end spending ages in stuffy rooms. When I was younger I didnt mind more cold and snow but now I am living a very busy lifestyle, I much prefer warmer, sunnier conditions.
  21. Geez, more cloudy dross oop North it sounds. Here it has been a pretty sunny and warm afternoon here with the sun appearing since about 12pm! It was quite hazy at times however and didn't become clearer till about 5pm but a lovely afternoon on the whole. Tomorrow looks excellent and time for another BBQ! Really pleased with this summer. Yes this month hasn't been very exciting bar the first 2 or so days but its been very useable generally and that's all that matters to most with a busy schedule.
  22. Careful guys. Already some are treating next weekend with certainty. Have you learnt from this weekend? Certainly a trend towards something cooler but after this week where the models have a made a fool of us ALL week, I wont be fully accepting what is shown till probably T72. Looks like my timing back to Cornwall will be perfect to get closest to that Azores High! hehe.
  23. Ouch for Lerwick there. They certainly do get both ends of the spectrum though very well!
