rain eased for now but cells above us are almost stationary wit radar showing new cells popping up nearby. Could be more to come. Incredible rain rates and amounts dumped in minutes.

still baffled by the dry slot between Lincoln and Birmingham. Looks dry for the rest of today here now.
Centre of the low pretty much directly overhead here, evident on the radar too as everything circling this area. So fairly dry for now but this area perhaps coming into play later on today.

Tomorrow and Thursday look equally as promising.
we have just sat on the southern edge of it. Barely rained so pretty safe here outdoors. But being th edge has meant some good views of lightning and the structure of the storm.
