There are some stupid people about - obviously they are not warm blooded! After nearly going base over apex several times last winter I invested in some all weather boots, with anti-slip soles from Cotton Traders - 20 percent discount back in the summer - touch wood, I have not fallen so far! after a few glasses of wine it may be a different storey but then when you are p****d and you fall you don't feel a thing do you?? So somebody told me anway

Believe it or not, Freemeteo have forecast sleet or snow for Lincolnshire next week! So, if it happens it blows my theory of snow in November and a mild winter comes. Snow in October that is very new here!

i HAVE BEEN VERY BUSY THIS SUMMER SO HAVE NOT POSTED FOR MONTHS BUT: As I said last autumn and, the autumn before, if it DOESN'T snow in Bourne, Lincolnshire in November we are in for a jolly good dump in January/February as was proved twice. My better half calls me a Witch because I often know things before they happen so look out Lincolnshire!

Morning all. It is snowing very heavily in Lincolnshire as I type - it's windy too - can't believe it can keep this pace for long! Hope it's all melted by the morning

Happy New Year everybody. I must admit I am sick of icy pavements and roads now - too dangerous! But, why on Earth didn't they cancel the Copenhagen farce and use the money to buy snow ploughs to keep all of Europe's roads clear like they do in Germany, Poland, Austria etc, etc?? I think it is more likely to be an Ice Age that we are heading for now like my Georgraphy teach told me many years ago! Keep warm friends :unsure: Regards Snowdragon
