One big blessing is the clear skies we have at present, it helping to distort things, wet overcast days often see dull light all day, goes dark by half 3, this eve under a full moonlight and clear skies, it was still lightish at half 4... a real bonus, in what is normally the most dull period of the year. We are being spoilt this year!

I have definitely enjoyed some late night full moon walked me on the beach lately no torch required

    This was bad one.

I mean, it was a supertyphoon with a pinhole eye at landfall, so not unexpected in a sense, but damn...

The number of fatalities rises rapidly to at least 375, as the Red Cross appeals for urgent aid.

It's been a thing for years now ? The links ought to be neither here or there as they're just thumbnails. The tweets are what they are - I can't think of a better way to share content without stealing it.

i haven't really used this site in years just occasionally dip in and out

It got a bit wet and windy there in New Caledonia, but apparently no lives lost, and about 20k homes without power, flooding, and all the usual things.

On the other hand, the low pressure system in Auckland feeding from it feels like it wants to take off the roof of my house right now, but I'm sure it'll be fine. Wind is currently gusting 70-80 km/h, lashing the rain against the windows.

If you visit the V8 in Safari you should see an on screen prompt for installing it as an app. But put short, if you go to the share menu and select add to home screen, it'll install

  5. Hello,

I know there was mention a while back of an iPhone app for the netweather paid radar subscription. Is that something that is available or in the process of being developed?

I had the free one for years until it stopped working. I used home and dry now and its fine but not what I am used to with Netweather.

    Thanks.

I don't get cookie's thought of taking them all down. They're kind of a mandatory severe storm warning thing for us. Have a great storm chase tour!! I'm in  most hated state of Nebraska....LOL

They don’t work as they should do. People over rely on them. They can easily be hacked.
