Nearly in Scotland? you could equally say the problem with Yorkshire is it's close Cambridgeshire as i'm far closer to Cambridgeshire and counties surrounding it than i am to Scotland.
We had schnizzle allllll morning in Halifax, West yorks....it never amounted to much but it was good that it wasn't forecast yet what was forecast never happened! lol
Odd in Slaithwaite we did have 3inches, it did look very green over towards Huddersfield though....and last night on the radars i noticed a hole in the precipitation east of me over Huddersfield. Weird!
The snow turned very heavy for the last couple of hours, now cleared pretty much with some sleety or rain precipitation lightly falling at the moment, but 2 or 3 inches which is nice!
It's been snowing here since 1pm but mainly moderately, not heavy at all but i guess thats why low depths we're forecast for the length of time it is meant to snow.
I'd rather go to Niseko which has far better conditions than anywhere in Europe ever has.
The Pyrenees ties in with other things we are doing down that side of France, wouldn't of been bright to drive to the other side of the country really.
I'm heading to the French pyrenees to Bareges/La Mongie next weekend and although there is snow cover and most pistes are open i'm a little worried about the temps esp at village level, i wanted my first skiing holiday to be perfect! lol
Really heavy hail showers today, very exciting weather and this morning the weather was very rainy and incredibly windy.
As the day has gone on it's got colder, about 2c out there now. Snow on Pennines possibly.
It hasn't half rained a lot has it! two nights ago when it was windy we had some incredibly heavy wet slushy hail.
It would be nice to settle down into a cold high pressure system.
Very windy out tonight, not sure about snow chances i take them as they come and don't get my hopes up, Rain seems to of died down too now and Chelsea are about to beat Man City....finally they're beaten, oh i'm a Liverpool fan.
