  1. Looks like it’s moving northwest but also looks like it’s becoming more organised as it moves up. Maybe some Prozac will help before providing your husband with the forecast?
  2. For those on the west and central belt, this band moving north is beginning to look interesting. Looks like it’s picking up strength as it moves north.
  3. To be fair I think I did my fair share of spamming you at one point
  4. You never know I might be tempted back into a return. Maybe Can’t believe I’ve been a member on here since 2006 though!
  5. Actually looks like the band might be picking up some intensity again - some convection going on perhaps?
  6. I’m not sure if much is going to come of this front moving from the south. Looks like it may be losing intensity as it moves up.
  7. Edinburgh looks like it is getting a bit of a pasting right now. Anyone there that can confirm?
  8. I'm very interested (excited) to see how this afternoon pans out having seen a couple of of those Fax charts and the trough going right through the central belt. Just beginning to snow again here - should have a few "on and off" showers throughout this morning going by the radar.
  9. That’s the crazy thing! And we know from experience how these things can intensify/stall etc as well. This is coming close now to the greatest snow event in my 28 years
  10. These bands moving east to west now look like they are going to absolutely hammer my area. 15 inches plus looks fairly conservative now
  11. DON’T do what I did and use your appendage. I’ve been in the bath ever since trying to recover. Plus, I’ll never know if we got past 2 inches....
  12. You shouldn’t be either. Only got a paltry 10 inches here thus far ?
  13. Your breathing is mental there, almost sounds like the wind!!
  14. There is plenty more to come guys, just look at all those showers beefing up our in the North Sea. We probably have another 12 hours of this!
  15. Correct! We were driving on the M6 yesterday and was pretty bad at certain points, today must have been hell at times.
  16. 8 inches now and plenty more yet to come if the radar is anything to go by and then of course we have overnight into tomorrow morning too. This could end up being 15 inches plus! The neighbours must be getting confused by me shouting "wow 8 inches now it keeps getting bigger"
