we have thunder here in somerset, at long last out of the no storm club lol

all gone quiet on bh9 9bl, but looking at net radar, even wind dropped temp 13c, can see more clouds on horizon. i see we are in line, thx baths finished, now out looking! ben waiting 3 days for some thunder now want more!even 10yrr intersted now1

That may be an unfortunate choice of words as although many of us love extremer weather, we surely don't want another 1987? (even if that were remotely on the cards) :lol:

Actually, let me slightly clarify that... as I've now seen the very latest severe weather briefing from the Chief Forecaster.... his new mapping does actually take the northern edge of the swathe of heaviest / disruptive rain up to Bristol and S Glos, plus all of Somerset effectively, so it's likely you'll get a fair hosing in Weston-s-Mare. Maybe 30mm or so possible. I expect worst areas for Somerset will be around Crewkerne, Yeovil, Wincanton and NE into the borderlands with Wilts, e.g., Frome, Radstock etc.... also some of the 'flashy' catchments around Chew and environs into B&NES.
lol Ian, so we are going to get very wet in wincanton, a chance for me to do my cathy from wuthering heights impression!!!!!!!

we had a great show last night, even got my 9yrd up to see his first shooting stars now hes hooked, wants to know if any tonight lol, but me wonders is it because he wants to stay up late!!!!lol,
the skies were very clear and to my count one every 30secs from 11.00pm til i got tired at 1am

Tourists back again - one has rather interesting shorts on and a couple of white sticks coming out the bottom of them.

I am talking about the cracks right at the top in the white ice above the cleft where the water is draining.
There were no cracks at all a couple of hours ago.
yes i see now, im a novice to all this, but i cant keep my eyes away, soz i was looking at bottom, where all the jet steams were 2 days ago, but see now scary!

I can't believe that I used to love watching clouds!! Just goes to show, context is all important.
Unless that cloud lifts a little i don't think we will see a lot of incandescance tonight.
i dont know, but im seeing more at this at night, than i have for a week, on vodaphone, the other i cant spell aint working, and val not showing alot, and hel showing abit!!! how sad am i, on sat night, watching vol!!!

i bet when i say im off, and hub gets on, it will happen, but you can see from when all this started till now, things are looking iffy, espcially at bottom, i have feeling in water lmao, it will happen when i a gogo!!!, and i get up at 6am all happened

as i say im no expert!!!, but have been watching for weeks now!, does anyone think things are happening, noticed ash thicker, steam from a small steam hole, now bigger, water flowing, bigger, and now, not too sure, but the larger crater, getting angrier, and so glad five fat bellies, and his lovely blue t shirt ( which was bigger than my bra |lmao) fell off cliff! oops sorry i dreamt that, has gone with is other strange fiends!!!
