Regardless of all the other exciting issues affecting our region in the next few days, it has actually been raining heavily here now for about 6 hours, lanes are nearly flooding and ground is saturated, not boding well for what is on its way!!!

Is it my eyesight or does that low over northern France appear to be travelling in a NE direction toward the south coast?
I think you are right, it does appear to be moving NE, was it supposed to go this way? Could it possible give South Devon our first bit of proper laying snow this winter. Temp is 2.1 and dew point is -2. Come on Snow

Yeah, it is snowing, only settled on cars and roofs but oh so pretty, am really hoping it keeps up, would be amazing if it got any heavier, please don't stop snow.

Well it has not rained here since midday but has been quite windy so ground has dried slightly come on snow, I know you are out there please come this way. Is it still possible I may see a flake or two for the first time this winter or am I just living in hope here in Torbay

Temperature & dew point dropping quickly here, Please don't let it all be rain, have been waiting all winter for a flake of snow.

Well S DEvon has a temp of 0 and dew point of-4 surely this would mean any thing that fell would be snow. Is the temp due to rise significantly or am I , after many sleepless nights, in with a chance of a flake?

Still no snow in S Devon really thought it was our time and that Cornish front might clip us. -5 dew point -3 temp and no nothing falling from the sky. Am very happy for those in Cornwall that have snow but would very much like to see a flake this winter

Any further updates guys n gals.
It seems I can cross a few locations off, so hopefully this marginality that a whole lot of us were concerned about has disappeared for now or at least, been delayed.
So, to repeat.
Has it snowed in................................
Coastal Dorset regions, such as Poole, Bournemouth, Weymouth etc.
Coastal Devon
Isle of Wight
Other regions of the Costa del South Coast
Lastly, how much rain has fallen in parts of Cornwall and Devon, for example.
No Snow in South West Devon, just rain, is there any hope at all for us in the next few days, am feeling quite sad.

No snow here, just rain, I am very confused as to how yesterday we had temp of 6c and dew point of -1 and there was snow blowing about and last night our temp went down to 3 with a -2 dew point and we just got rain, how can this be?. Is there any hope at all in the next few days for us in south west devon.

My mum is reporting very light snow in Paignton not enough to settle but definately snow flakes falling from sky, This has cheered me up as I thought it was too warm in South Devon for any chance of snow

Just wondering how accurate the GFS temps are as it has me down for +2 right now and it is actually -3, Am I straw clutching as if temps are lower tomorrow, might we have an ouside chance of the white stuff. Hohum.

Just Wondering how accurate the GFS temps are, it has me down for -1 at 8am and it is actually -5.9. Although we are down as having no chance of snow tomorrow if the temps are colder than GFS predicts maybe we have an outside chance or am I just dreaming. Hohum.

Horrible cold rain here, dew point has risen from 0.2 to 1.1 in 45 minutes How can this happen, I thought it might drop, ho hum !!

Morning all Well it is very dark and very windy here(just blown our sand pit lid across the garden, temp still too high 3.5 praying that temp will drop. Gut feeling it is going to be very heavy,cold rain here but hoping for a miracle.

Please tell me someone that there is some colder air and lower dew points on the way as currently have 0.9 dew and 2.8 temp, even I know that this is impossible to bring the white stuff falling from the sky.
Would really like to be getting excited over the forecasts but with temps like these it is proving tricky.

The temps are only going one way (up) the chances of snow for tuesday for us is close to zero in my view.

I am feeling sad tonight, after waiting for years we finally got a 1-2 cm covering last week and after continuous light rain from 5pm it has all been washed away,
I am trying not to moan as I do appreciate how lucky we were to see any snow and the peeps that have seen nothing have all my sympathy.
However I am still sad.
The temp has risen to a balmy 3.2 and dew point is -0.8. Can anyone tell me if the temp is likely to drop or is this a foreboding sign for Tuesday?

Cannot remember carnage like this in South Devon, snow came in so fast, just taken 2 and half hours to do a 20 min journey. Waited years for this, in total heaven right now. Snow so heavy and this isn' t even the worst yet. Totally amazing here
