Morning All, it's one of those have everything days it seems. It's windy, overcast, no wait a brighter spell, no wait heavy drizzle now. The overnight low of 10.1°C at: 06:42, has hauled itself slowly up to 11.3°C, RH92% with a fresh breeze in from the SSW - W. A perfect day to remove any cobwebs with a walk along the pier.

Afternoon All, the main rain area has moved past now. The overnight low of 3.4°C at: 00:07 has risen to 11.3°C, RH97% and a light breeze from the SW. From Above the earlier (12:05) sat shot, shows the back edge of the main rain bearing cloud as it pulls away SE. Over a week away but who knows maybe it'll happen.

*Stormforce~beka* Have a read of the enclosed: Lavender Care - Downderry Nursery DOWNDERRY-NURSERY.CO.UK Lavender plant care including pruning advice. Its also worth looking at a high potash feeder, something like https://www.amazon.co.uk/Chempak-High-Potash-Fertiliser-Formula/dp/B00K6GWJCK/ref=sr_1_6?sr=8-6 To hopefully bring it on, make sure it's not going to get too much water in the the mean time. @jtay please feel free to shut me up if I am providing anything wrong in trying to resuscitate the sad looking lavender.

*Stormforce~beka* Anything you can break, like plant pots (not plastic) , plates, cups, bricks, you name it, I suspect you might have a better chance if you put it in a pot, given that we are due to see more rain over the next 5 days or so. A friendly garden centre might have some broken pots, you only need a little if you put it in a pot to try and bring it on.

Do a quick test, select a twig of lavender bend it, if it breaks then could well be dead, but if it bends and doesn't snap there's a fair chance it's slow in getting its act together. Lavender is quite hardy temperature wise, so I'd not really think the cold has killed , more like the excess of rain. JTAY has given you the good info.
