  3. Morning All, some heavy downpours overnight have added another 13.2mm to the weekend’s rainfall total, and looking like more on the way as the showers build and move east..overnight low of 6.4°C at: 05:20, currently 8.3°C ..
  4. Wow,are we taking over as the Microclimate? A cracking amount of rain here..
  5. Cracking on with these showers, some really decent rainfall, now currently 17.2 mm, hopefully more to come.. A fair amount of instability as shown on the beach webcam..
  6. Some nice feisty showers in the area, one nice one over Ringwood.. Meanwhile some potential for some more showers later.. The beach meanwhile is empty.. Fingers crossed for some showers to break out over the area, mind you we are up to 3.8 mm so far today..
  7. Somewhat overcast still... A gap in the clouds before the Inbound next rain maker starts to appear...

  9. Still sat in the middle whilst this flabby area holds over the Channel..with a variation of +0.2mb all day
  10. We've had sunshine and patches of blue sky, possible benefit of sitting in the "eye of the storm"!
  11. Sat in the (DRY) eye of the storm! Pressure has remained almost stable for hours
  12. Choppy seas and dark skies seem the order of the morning here.. Some early morning rain with 2.8mm since midnight, and an overnight low of 7.3°C at: 05:25, currently 8.3°C and the breeze in from the East...
  13. I think Dorset Sun needs to submit his forecasts to a different county newspaper, as the “up to 30mm” certainly didn’t happen here, but further west looks to have and are still under some heavy rainfall...AND a Met Office warning exists today for the area under the deluge..I think this one has upset a few predicted forecasts as it has wobbled and tracked with a mind of its own!
  14. From the local rag... A DORSET based forecaster has issued an orange weather warning ahead of heavy rainfall expected later today. The forecaster Dorset Sun has issued its own orange weather warning due to heavy rain which we can expect to see over the next 24-hours. However, the Met Office has not issued any weather warning ahead of the expected downpour. Dorset Sun said: "A deepening area of low pressure is expected to move in from the south on Wednesday afternoon and could see up to 30mm fall quite widely across the yellow shaded area. OK own up who goes under the alias of Dorset Sun?
  15. Morning All, after a low last night of 6.9°C at: 06:06, currently at 10.9°C with rain shower overnight adding 0.4mm ... Cu building nicely this morning , in a very light WSW breeze. Sat image shows the rain in the SW approaches... Beachcam shows the influx of cloud, in from the SW..
  16. I missed it, it's been raining and I had my head down with my laptop, attempting to fix some of the worlds problems! Oh well, according to the electronic measuring device a nice 3.0mm of rain has cruised through...hmm does look overcast though I have to admit..
