  1. Morning All, what a cracker, shorts and 'T' (but then again winter is always shorts & T) to really appreciate the warmth this morning, after an overnight low of 6.0°C at: 08:19, currently 9.9°C, RH74% with light air movement from the NW. From Above, looking good On Golden sands a couple of brave folks enjoying the somewhat 'fresh' water
  2. Ah, you'll be a learned person then, able to command top salaries wherever you go, but most importantly you can cut grass. Talking of which, if you are called upon to the Winchester Palace of delights @*Stormforce~beka* place, then you can now command a cuppa once the lawn is complete.
  3. As Matt noted this afternoon has been dreary compared to this morning with patchy drizzle, as noted this morning its currently 10.7°C.
  4. Morning All, a mainly overcast start to the day, after some light rain overnight, with the low of 7.3°C at: 00:00, currently 10.7°C, RH97% and a light breeze in from the SSW. From Above, overcast being the best description On Golden sands a glimmer of sun @*Stormforce~beka* Oooh so there is!!! You can use that when you're feeling cold. BTW: Have you managed to sort out your prescription issues?
  5. Oooo, we are beginning to wind up again in the MOD thread....."and I think some very wintery synoptics will be appearing imminently....."
  6. Morning All, a dry start under mainly overcast sky this morning, after the overnight low of 8.7°C at: 08:00 having rocketed up to 11.1°C, RH79% and a light breeze in from the W - SW. From Above a fair amount of cloud streaming in from the SW On Golden sands
  7. @*Stormforce~beka* Still a pain in the asre rather than just clicking on a button.... Almost as challenging as mowing the lawn, and you sussed that one.
  8. Morning All, a damp start to the day, although it looks like the rain is not far from moving out the area. The overnight low of 4.9°C at: 04:36 has crept up to 9.4°C, RH97% with a fresh breeze from the SW - WSW, and heavy drizzle. From Above, Jocelyn is producing a lot of cloud On Golden sands a fair amount of white water and no Purbecks today
  9. Great day for drying the washing down here, one light passing shower, but still some good breeze to air things. I'm glad the wind has dropped as it's recycle collection day tomorrow and my bin is full and I'm hoping the lid will stay put because if it doesn't the contents will be off down the street. As for the bin its so full of old cd's and items, it is so heavy it won't go anywhere even in 60mph gusts
  10. Morning All, I'm sure ISHA tried her worst last night, but I didn't hear it, so it was down to a reccy of the estate this morning. Dustbins Flower pots Fence Panels (All) Tiles Garden Furniture Bird Table Greenhouse Trampoline.........Hang on I don't own a trampoline, where the heck did that come from? Stats wise, the overnight low 7.9°C at: 08:26 has risen to 9.7°C,RH 83% and a fresh breeze in from the SW veering W. From Above some potent showers around On Golden sands
  11. Sideways rain and flexing fence panels, seems the order of the night at the moment. Took the dogs to the back door for their last natural break before bed, and they would not go out, can’t say I blame them as it’s fairly rough out there at the moment.
  12. The pressure chart for ISHA is unusual compared to a "normal" inbound low, where you see a progressive curve, dependent of course on the pressure drop, but ISHA seems to be in fits and starts, just looking at the pressure drop, it's almost a stepped pressure descent.
  13. Try this https://wow.metoffice.gov.uk/ And also https://www.wunderground.com/wundermap?lat=51.069&lon=-1.795
  14. I'd say keep checking until the old man's nose goes white, then I think he'll be cold enough.
  15. They've moved from the MOD thread as nothing is happening over there, in fact there's a general "Winter is over" aroma beginning to waft out of there today
