Only 6.6mm of rain here in Pencoed over the past 24 hours - has the storm passed through or is it coming in later today?

Gone much quieter here now, hopefully the worst has passed

BBC televised forecasts are still showing as a severe storm from Cornwall right through to Lincolnshire. Do they know something we don't? Or are they using data from a few hours ago?

Hope what you are all saying is correct - all my facebook friends here in South Wales are panicking after seeing the BBC news and I'm putting them right about the fact that its not going to happen!
