    That was a nice storm just passed over Swindon, had nearly constant thunder at one point, still rumbling away nicely off to the east now...... next please!

    Yep, my first thunder of the year so far, and just heard a couple more rumbles approaching from the S/W

    Started raining here again, very large drops with hail mixed in. Cloud base is ever so dark. Not sure if I can hear distant rumbles or not, as I'm not too far away from RAF Fairford, and the jets are practicing again today.

    A good bit of thunder and lightning in Swindon, goes quiet for 5 minutes then starts up again. My first storm of the year!!!!

    Torrential rain in Swindon for the last 45 minutes, not electrical though. There's a lot of flooding on the roads.

    Still continuous heavy rain and strong gusty winds here in Swindon. Skies are brightening to the South, but no let up with the rain as yet. Lots of flooding all over the town.

    Hi Al, my goodness is that Dorcan Way? We've got ponds appearing all over the garden, but our neighbours have a stream running through. You can't distinguish between road and pavement at the end of our road. I've never seen anything like it! :lol: And still the heavy rain continues!

    Still torrential rain here in Swindon, guttering can no longer cope and garden is looking more and more like a pond :o Still thundering, and still able to see the lightning. :o

    Steady rain here, with regular heavy bursts. A few claps of thunder in the last 15mins.

    Raining here now, and the storm I've been watching to my East seems to be intensifying somewhat. Which direction are they moving in? :unsure: I thought they were moving N/E ? But this one seems to be getting closer to me.

    Evening everyone, just enjoying a nice light show to my East. No idea how far away the storm actually is. I can just about hear faint rumbles. Great to see some nighttime lightning, its been a while :o

    Thunderstorm just passed over Swindon in the last hour Some beautiful cg's and loud cracks of thunder. A little hail at the beginning of storm, but not much precip overall. Storm moved off to the East now
