  1. this is hilarity. so are the models not up to scratch, or is the weather more unpredictable than ever? i personally think it's flips every day atm, tomorrow we'll be back in Narnia
  2. Meto Uk Further Outlook

yes, but a flurry of snow, isn't better than significant snow :-P
  3. Meto Uk Further Outlook

Yes, but it's downgraded the words 'significant snowfall' , so it's probably going to be drier than first thought
  4. nah, it's Netweather members with sledge hammers beating the c**p out of the server :-D
  5. The BBC Weather Forums

I remember you being on there matey, I've still kept the old name. well it must be at least 15 years ago now? I absolutely loved the BBC forum, it had such an air of fun and true excitement for the weather, which seems to have been weeded out of this forum nowadays.

I'm not hugely hopeful, but we seem to have had more good surprises than bad so far this winter :-D

That was the brightest 'red sky at morning' I've seen for years, maybe it's a sign for later on today? there are some pretty cold upper moving back in with this front? Not saying there'll be a lot, just that I think we'll still get a bit of back edge snow

Birmingham seems to be killing off any showers as they pass over it. must be the urban heat island effect? We've had only two flurries today :-(

I can see your shower from Bedworth, looks like an April shower

Well this 'cold' spell is turning out rubbish. No snow here and not even a white frost , and it was supposed to be minus 4 last night, we only got to minus 1 here?? How can we be so unlucky in this country??? Cold spells certainly are very weird nowadays, aren't they? Now we have another false easterly to chase in FI (and we know we will). I can't be grudge this winter too much, we've had 7 falls of snow, and two good ones at that, but I'd love just one more good fall of snow before the spring comes :-)

Precipitation developing over the Midlands now. Remember 2013 when we weren't expecting snow and all of a sudden it developed over the top of us and gave 10"? Fingers crossed! ;-)
