  1. Good luck Paul and team today. The terrible, terrible news of the devastation and loss of life in Moore is all over the news here in the UK this morning. Just seen some pictures on the news and it is heartbreaking. Stay safe out there, it sounds like today may be difficult to. Aunt sally
  2. Many congratulations to Paul and all the Netweather team. I stumbled across Netweather back in 2005 looking for a weather forecast for my wedding day! I enjoy reading the forums and all the banter and I might have learned some skills along the way! Netweather is also responsible for enabling me to go on a trip of a lifetime storm chasing back in 2009. Those fantastic memories will stay with me forever and I will be eternally grateful for the opportunity given to me. Keep up the good work and here's to the next 10 years! Aunt Sally
  3. Hi all, Sorry I won't be able to get to Shap at the week-end, but I'll keep all fingers crossed for some half decent weather!! As Tom says I am now 5 months pregnant, which would probably stopped me camping but it was the the pre-planned week-end away that was the problem!! The baby is due (fingers crossed!) on the 8th December and I will obviously raise it to become a tornado chaser I hope that you all have a great time and I will see you soon Tammy
  4. Hi all, Well, what can I add that hasn't already been said! Thank you again to Ian and his family for their brilliant hospitality and friendliness, we were made to feel very welcome and the food and drink supplies would have kept us going for days!! Camping was great - thank you to those who helped me put my tent up, I would have been sleeping in the fresh air without them! I was great to see familiar faces and meet new ones and catch up with everyone. Finally made it home in 4 and a half hours but enjoyed the drive nonetheless - off to get some tea and lay on the settee and recover!! See you all in March in Cardiff Tammy
  5. Hi all, Pat - Sorry to hear that you won't be joining us, we will miss you very much Really looking forward to seing you all on Saturday, according to the sat nav its 4hours from Teesdale so should be 'landing' about 3pm ish! The tent is out, I vaguely know how to put it up - what could possibly go wrong See you all on Saturday Tammy
  6. Hi all, Well, I've dug out our two man tent, dusted it down, found out my air bed and sleeping bag - so I think I am ready for next week-end!! Just need some instructions about how to put the tent up and I should be fine Looking forward to seeing everyone and having a good laugh - see you all on Saturday Bye for now Tammy
  7. Hi all, Sorry I have been useless!! Paul has just pointed me in the direction of the 2nd Annual Storm Chase BBQ and I am planning to be there. I have a tent, which I will need to practice putting up But apart from that I should be ok! Looking forward to seeing you all there! Tammy
  8. Come on Paul - if Pat could give it a shot last year, so can you!! Tammy
  9. Hi Harry, I think that you have definetley been bitten by the storm chasing bug!! Once you have been chasing and get to see how awe inspiring it can be, it never leaves you! You are chasing with the best (and friendliest) team out there and I hope you get to see loads more before the tour finishes. Tammy
  10. Wow oh wow!!! What an amazing day for you all! The lightening looks stunning and to see all of those tornadoes must have been something else. I can not tell you how jealous I am sitting at home watching all of this taking place on the other side of the pond! But I hope you get to see many more before the tour finishes. Take care and be safe! Tammy
  11. Morning all, What an amazing day for you all!! John and Harry your pictures are incredible and show how amazing storm chasing can be Paul is the bees knees for getting you in the right place at the right time to see the storms! Hope you are as lucky today. Tammy
  12. Hi, I am watching the live streaming and the picture and streaming is brilliant. The day looks great and I'll be able to see when the storm starts to bubble up. I enjoyed the 'meet the team' video - Tom does look like Brucie Tammy
  13. Hi all, Glad to hear that you all arrived in once piece! I've been watching the live stream and it looks good (and sunny!) Paul - the cars look very nice now but I suspect that they won't look that shiny when they are returned  Good luck over the next few days, I hope that you get some good storms! Tammy
  14. Hi to all of the stormchasers!! I really hope you have a great time and get to see some amazing storms and tornados whilst you are out there. I am so gutted that I am not going out there this year, but will keep watching the footage from home I can't believe that it is a year since I was getting ready to go out - where has the year gone!! Have fun and be safe! Tammy
  15. Hi all! Thank you Ian for organising a top night out in Manchester, my head has just stopped hurting It was lovely to catch up with everyone and to meet new people who are going out this year. Pat - I am glad to hear that you are alive See you all soon Tammy
