As I've said before - go to Iceland! Fits in perfectly with those desires and it's also a lovely country to be in too.
That's why mums go to Iceland!
I think i'd have to agree with TM, but i would like it to be drier and cooler in summer, clear skies with temps no high than 20C with a northerly breeze.

I've seen snow on Peter Crouch's head with rain at ground level.

-8C here on edge of town last night and -14C in nearby valley ...incredible cold snap, wonderful way for this winter to go out with a bang with very low temps and extremely low dewpoints.
The temps the for 'nearby valley' seem suspiciously low, any proof?
