I tell you the wind is blowing today in Kent ...

Well after heavy winds and amazing blizzards, I felt as if I was in a glass cage watching it flying inland, so poor sod (most likely Canterbury) got that lot major... anyway its stopped now an dthe wind is starting to weaken. I think we shall get some more soon but I can see some 10 miles out to see at present although looks like heavy clouds approaching again!

Well having my third panel down means I have to get out there now... Your right I have a major storm here now... thick flakes and really strong wind just recorded a gust in excess of 40mph.... You got it to come but atleast its from teh land for you down in Hythe. Here I go.... just in case... Love you all! I'm off to the beach front to fight this thing front on... you have to laugh about it or you would cry I look like a nerd with all this gear on! Aloha!

Here at Whitstable, Kent I have wind in excess of 30mph recorded, my house is on the Beach and the main fencing as just been blown down two panels gone - projectile snow, its travelling so fast its shooting up the beach bank over my house at such sped my front upstairs bedroom windows are totally white and you cant see out them and the whole house has snow beads on it where is just being blown stuck... and they say this stuff will turn to ice.. my god I will have an igloo... Seriously this is fun, but my wife is rather upset... lost my weather table and tower about ten minutes ago... equipment is fine but table has broken. :shock: Nevermind this is what its about.... I love it!

WHitstable, Kent been under Blizzards since 17.31 exactly, starting to slow a little radar looking strong for more snow in the night, We have nearly 1" now, its rather wet snow though, lays thick then starts to thaw a little... Still snowing now at 18.36 thats 1 hour of constant snow, flake size vary from small to large with temperature changes.

After a period of clear blue skys and the thaw of the snow the cloud has started to cover the skys again, the temperature has dropped one degrees in the past 30 minutes and we are getting ready for Mr. White stuff to come again to little old Kent this late afternoon. I reckon it will be about 3.30 to 6pm on my estimates that Kent will get the dump. Come on you... bring it on. Aloha

Snow in Kent: Dover 2" Whitstable 0.5" Canterbury 1" Very strong winds blowing at 18 mph NW. Air temperature: range from -1 to 1c. More snow forcast late afternoon. Yipeeeeeee :lol: :lol: :lol: :lol:

Just had a report froma friend of rain in Anglia - not a sniff of snow! Interesting.... :?

Here on the Kent coast the temperature has dropped a couple degrees and the wind is really starting to kick in, just went outside to check the weather equipment and it feels freezing, the wind chill really kicking in. Temp region at Whitstable is 3c dropped from 5c this morning and the wind is now blowing 25 MPH NEE. Sky has full cloud cover and all in all its cold... but rather exciting to see what will happen in the next 24 hours.

Hi, Here on the Kent coast we have similar conditions, last night at 1am we received ice in teh rain in quantity and again this morning in eth early hours, now its just a gale force NW wind (feeling really cold outside) and the sea is a total mess of white water. Sky looks like a mix of broken low cloud and clear skys with red sky showing itself. Temp has dropped to a very low figure. Just need that snow to appear now but would say the best hope would be mid to late Monday.

Here in Kent, It has just notreached us, I believe that the far east of the county may of caught some earlier in the Thanet Region (Margate, Broadstairs, Ramsgate) but not heard any reports yet. The snow seems to be getting dumped on Anglia and Hull from all evidence. Radar showing a shower starting to penetrate but I am now a little doubtfull of what will actually hit Kent to be honest. Not much cloud left and the showers on Radar seems to be reducing.

Time: 23.40 Clear Skys but radar showing snow activity to the north of the county in the North Sea about 12 miles out, might just clip from Herne Bay to Ramsgate. Not so sure now of Kents activity for the snow seems to be all getting dropped in Suffolk! Will update later if get chance. Strong winds: just took reading on becah with 47 mph gust NORTHERLY... VERY COLD WIND CHILL, Temp reducing gradually.
