      If I were to move, it would be to somewhere in continental europe or possibly scandinavia at a push, nothing away from that... I love the cosmopolitan, european feel of so many cities on the continent- plus the climate, history, prosperity- all brilliant. My parents want to move to the US or the Carib in a few years; no thanks!

      The main advantage of moving in Europe is that you don't need a visa! It is notoriously difficult to get a US visa, but even Canada isn't easy. Given the chance I'd move to the US, but I'd intend it to be a temporary move I think. Of course European countries have language barriers, but there's nothing stopping anyone from learning a new language!

      Spain's climate/landscape is also impressively varied as is Italy's but I agree that France packs alot of climates in to it and maybe the most varied country in Europe.
