  1. Noooo don't give up yet! it's way to early. Keep watching radars it can always change directions. I'm excited but if nothing happens I know there are more opportunities
  2. Lol that's my wallpaper now. Yes France and BoB are doing pretty well....
  3. Their wines pretty good too Anyway, I've just seen a weather watch from Metcheck and they are quite happy to also mention thunderstorms from tomorrow morning through to the afternoon. It all seems to be coming in to play! but there's always a chance it may not but I'm sure it will lol.
  4. Perhaps we shouldn't rely on France for their imports, because once they've had all theirs all they send over to us is that horrible grey blanket of dull cloud. Lol but this only happens on a few occasions mind Lol
  5. Lool let's wait and see. plenty more chances to come . good luck again all I have tried the reverse psychology but it never did work for me. But I'm always the optimist.
  6. And not forgetting Netweathers warning as well which has been showing for a couple of days now. http://www.netweather.tv/index.cgi?action=weather-alerts;reg=5;sess=
  7. And here we have another update from the Met Office : Issued at - 21 May 2014, 11:57 Valid from - 22 May 2014, 00:05 Valid to - 22 May 2014, 21:00 Areas of heavy and locally thundery rain are expected to move north and west across the southern half of England along with Wales during the early hours of Thursday. A brief period of drier weather reaching the extreme southeast around midnight Thursday will follow northwestwards, probably reaching much of Wales and southwest England later in the morning. However, scattered locally heavy showers, with the risk of some slow-moving thundery downpours, are likely to develop quite quickly during Thursday, only slowly dying out in the evening. The public should be aware of the risk of localised flooding. This warning has been updated to extend it to all of Wales and the southern half of England. There remains considerable uncertainty in the rainfall details and further updates may be issued. http://www.metoffice.gov.uk/weather/uk/sw/sw_forecast_warnings.html
  8. Yes really awful I'm sure Wales have had their fix lol but we must remember thunderstorms are so hard to forecast, which is exciting in a way because they can just appear from nowhere out of anywhere even if not forecast
  9. On Twitter one of my tweets mentions an outbreak of severe storms over France and Benelux. Let us all jump in a boat and go and watch them Lol. Maybe after all, members in the SE will see something even if its looking out to sea.
  10. Oh, thank you BF I guess we will have to wait and see I do have a little convection here at the moment Lol. I guess we'll all be busy watching the radars tonight just in case one pops up out of nowhere.
  11. I always remain optimistic I just can't help it lol. It's the excitement leading up to it also whether any of us will get something when the potentials there. Even on a normal day and the clouds look stormy I'm forever thinking and saying that a storm could come along and that it can happen when its not even been forecast. Yes we have the rest of the summer and Autumn or even winter yet Here's to a most excellent, exciting, awesome and astounding storm season
  12. Seen it already lol No suprise there when it comes to the Express it gets sillier and sillier. Best to stick to Netweather.
  13. Don't give up hope folks http://www.netweather.tv/index.cgi?action=news;storyid=5904;sess= Maybe Estofex will show something tonight.

  16. A lot of cloud cover here this morning but the sun is trying to come out. My nearest station at Staverton is saying 'heavy thunderstorm rain' so to combine this with Nicks forecast I may be lucky . But oh, what I would give to experience what Wales did yesterday! Good luck everybody for today.
