    Hi everyone, Just woke up and I have to admit I was expecting it to be a lot windier that it is at the moment... Currently it was windier yesterday, has it missed here or is it still to come?

    Hi, Nothing here all day, the NW extra radar has been showing light snow over me for a few hours now but still nothing (not even 1 flake)

    No snow here last night, and MetO has also changed to us only having light snow from 3pm today (was light & heavy from 12 midday last night), wind has picked up though...

    Hi, Well I do hope it's better, lol. Guess I am going to have to sit untill about a week from the holiday before I or anyone else can judge what it's going to do. Hi, Cool, i'm hoping it's hot with some good storms, but I did read on my travels that the end of august to mid september is the best time for storms, but we can hope.

    Hi, I have booked a 2 week holiday at cap salou in spain for me and my family, however is it at all possible to let me know what the weather is going to be like? Holiday is from 29th June to 13th July (2010). I know it's a bit early to ask really, lol. Mods: Sorry if I have put this in the wrong forum, please move it.

    Very light sleety mix falling at the moment (nothing on radar though), most of the snow has melted with just the most frozen (shaded parts) still there.

    Only had 3 very light snow showers (10 mins max) here, nothing lying and the snow/ice we did have is melting fast (grass nearly clear).

    Just looked on the NW radar and there seems to have been some precip (sp) build about 15 miles my NE, hopefully it will make it here and take the temps down a little (please lol).

    Oh don't get me on the charts, I can never seem to make sence of them even though i have been here for years, lol P.S Thanks for pointing out the reason though.

    I personally think (don't hold me to it) that it is a combination of warmer sea air and the clouds, i think we could do with either moderate snow or no clouds to help keep the temps down. However i am not 100% sure the above is true, hopefully someone with more knowledge will let us know, lol.

    Temp here reading 1c and going by xcweather.co.uk the dewpoint around me are ranging from 1c to -3c. Also noted that the lying snow is no longer powder is more heavy (if that makes sence), better for a snowman IMHO, also the bits of ice on the bin are starting to melt (very slowly though).

    I think the BBC are showing both the poor forcast and the good forcast, at least that way they will be right, lol.

    Yeah defently taking the camera this time for pics (the views alone are out of this world if it's a clear day). Last time i climbed it was twice in one day and once the following day when i was 14 then once when i was 15, but i am sure the path is harder now than back then (about 15 years ago), or im just getting to old, lol. Temp now reading just over 0c (i'd guess around 0.3c) - should it be going up....

    Hi, Ben Nevis is well nice at the top, walked up there 2 years ago with my little one (he was 5 then), although it did take him a while to get there he done it. never got a pic though because i left my camera in the tent. He wants to go back this year so fingers crossed we can (waterfalls should be very nice with this ammount of snow on the mountains). Back to the weather: We had a very light snow flurry about 10 mins ago (nothing on the radar though), only lasted about 5 mins. Temp is around 0c (thermometer not that good - soz), and it is fairly breezy now compared to a couple of hours ago.

    Hi peeps, Don't know how cold it got round here last night but we only managed a dusting of snow. And the water meter on the outside toilet has frozen and burst (cracked about a 1/4 inch wide) Hope the snow makes it this far north.
