  1. The small LP tracking south in the N sea is bending the winds around to a N/NE, draping an occluded front from North to South as can clearly be seen on the radar.....question is...how far west will it get?
  2. Showers been skirting the coast all night only hitting the far NE of Northumberland and E Yorkshire. I dont think its going to change. This has to be the coldest period without significant widespread snow in the region I can remember.
  3. It's getting to the point now when it's more than just coincidence. Too many times do the showers split to the north and south
  4. Wait...this is impossible... its snowing at -4. All those years people have repeatedly told me that's too cold for snow...
  5. I would be getting the cutters out. Just turn the cut side to the window, then when the showers are on rotate it so you can get down the side
  6. It looks good up north, but that could end up dissipating or intensifying before it gets here. What is of note is shower activity seems to be developing behind the main clump, so there could be more showers later. Who's going to get lucky!... Not been a flake here so my turn! One things for sure... the snow will be lying even on the sand!
  7. The ppn which signify a change of wind direction back to the N, is heading on this path. Its also intensifying. Lets hope the trend continues...
  8. Its -2.8c here and I am only up the road from you. What height is your sensor at? Mine at 1.5M no where near any buildings.
  9. The band of showers is closing in... but its been weakened as it crossed NE Scotland. Will it pick up more ppn in the area highlighted as it continues to head south?
  10. Been in the lakes since Saturday. A light dusting here and there. Most of the hills have no snow. No snow all the way back over the A69. No snow back at home.. Quite surprising that many other places in the UK have snow cover.
