  1. Try this one although not as good: www.metoffice.gov.uk/public/weather/observation/rainfall-radar
  2. Net weather rainfall radar is stuck at 11:40
  3. We need showers like this one after 6pm! Let's hope we get them.
  4. Yes, I expect it to last in the shade. Getting partly cloudy here now as the showers approach from the hills.
  5. I am not even looking at the end of the week/weekend. A lot of uncertainty about the system coming from the south. Tomorrow looks really juicy and convective, especially in the afternoon.
  6. The cloud has almost completely gone so this leaves the sun to do the nasty work. On the plus side, the 6z gfs brings some snow showers from the east during the night and then tomorrow with the coldest uppers snow streamers cross the country. Tomorrow the best day for snow showers.
  7. Why can't you be happy for the others? There is snow in places near you. Just take a car/bus etc and get there to enjoy it instead of posting the same thing again and again?
  8. A beautiful covering in Piccadilly. A couple of cms of powder snow. It makes all the crappy slush we had in recent winters a distant memory. I hope we hold on to as much cloud cover as possible to save as much snow as possible till the sun sets.
  9. Looking at the movement of the band I would expect places from Cumbria to Preston to see a decent fall of snow in the next few hours. Manchester probably too far south.
  10. That sour face next to the snow chart! lol
  11. Unbelievable that there still changes in the track. The Aprege takes ti further west, mostly west and north of Manchester.
  12. The band of snow looks ahead of schedule, already affecting the northeast and north Yorkshire.
  13. The ECM precipitation charts don't look good for tomorrow. Not far of what the euro 4 is showing. http://en.vedur.is/weather/forecasts/atlantic/#type=prec
  14. He mentions area of snow from Yorkshire spreading into the midlands.
  15. Unless the euro 4 is right in which case it will be a dusting at best.
  16. After viewing the ICON and the GEM, I was expecting an epic evening but things look mixed at best now.
  17. Yes, it is best for the skies to stay clear from now on to get the temperature well below zero before the snow arrives in the morning.
  18. Even the gfs that loses the cold for a time brings it back again from the north. So the effects of the stratospheric warming should be continued to be felt for a while.
  19. The GEM is as good as the ICON if not better! http://www.meteociel.fr/modeles/geme_cartes.php?&ech=240&mode=0&carte=0
