    Two Atlantic tropical storms and the hurricane season has not officially started yet. Busy season to come!

      There's quite a few predictions for this season, l wonder how many will make landfall, last years storm Dorian seems like only yesterday.  Lack of aircraft data may have an impact on warnings, but we still have satellite imagery. Interesting to see how many storms 2020 brings, it's been very much an unprecedented year for events so far.  Hope you have been doing ok.

      Hi @Rush2112, yes whether they make landfall is very important. Last year the Gulf of Mexico failed to produce anything significant despite the warmer than average SSTs but with enso values turning negative I expect more activity in the Gulf this time. Spring and summer are the most boring seasons for me so hurricanes are my only wweather interest currently. I hope you are keeping well too.
