      Yes, I'm sure they will, but that's not what I was talking about.

      And partly true - and something I agree with, that it's harder to actually work in such conditions, but there are still people working in those climates.

      Working and hating it. Productivity certainly falls under those conditions and it is hard to concentrate.

      In general, cooler countries are more affluent and productive. In Europe, as an example, all the southern countries are poor. A pattern that is similar in North America too. I have experienced it and I know.

      They are poorer - but that's more related to countries like Italy and Spain being noncompetitive and corrupt. They have very little in the way of tangible industry. Eastern Europe is poorer.
